Compliance
Public information, accountability standards, legal disclosures, and controlled administrative policy.
Institutional Compliance Framework
CLAA’s compliance framework governs internal documentation, privacy, access, communications, evidence controls, referral authorization, public publication, security, and administrative accountability.
Role-Based Access
Administrative access should be individually attributable and limited to the functions required for assigned duties. Shared privileged accounts should not be used.
Evidence and Privacy Compliance
Confidential, privileged, restricted, and complainant-private records must remain within approved workflows and must not be published or transmitted without authorization.
Communication Compliance
CLAA communications must accurately describe the institution’s independent status, the administrative purpose of the communication, the requested response, and the actual consequences within CLAA’s own review and referral framework.
Referral Compliance
Agency referrals require destination verification, service-scope review, relevant unrestricted evidence, controlled authorization, and a factual submission record.
Security Compliance
CLAA uses layered security controls including HTTPS, identity controls, multifactor authentication for privileged access, role-based permissions, firewall and monitoring controls, non-public database access, audit history, and recoverable backups.
Reporting Concerns
Suspected unauthorized access, inappropriate disclosure, falsification, misuse of credentials, or manipulation of administrative records should be reported promptly through an approved internal channel.
